Find Your Perfect Fit – Size Guide & Measuring Tips

Finding glasses that truly fit starts with knowing your correct size. At BXL Eyewear, all of our frames are engineered for wider heads (145–165mm). Here’s how you can quickly measure your fit and compare it to our size guide.

Method 1: Quick Credit Card Test

Find Your Width Using a Credit Card

  1. Grab any standard credit card.

  2. Hold it vertically under one eye, with the long edge aligned with the middle of your nose.

  3. Check where the card’s edge falls relative to your eyebrow:

  • Narrow: If the card extends past the end of your eyebrow → You likely need narrow frames.

  • Medium: If the card edge aligns with the end of your eyebrow → Medium-width frames may fit.

  • Wide (XL): If the card edge doesn’t reach the end of your eyebrow → You need wide-width frames (145–165mm). That’s exactly what BXL Eyewear is built for.

Method 2: Accurate Ruler Measurement

Measure with a Ruler or Tape

  1. Stand in front of a mirror.

  2. Use a ruler or soft measuring tape.

  3. Measure the distance from temple to temple (across your forehead).

  4. Write down the measurement in millimeters and compare it with our size chart below.

Understanding Frame Measurements

Every pair of glasses comes with four key measurements. You’ll usually find them printed inside the frame arms:

  • Frame Width – The total width of the frame (most important for XL fit).

  • Lens Width – The width of one lens.

  • Bridge Width – The distance between the two lenses.

  • Temple Length – The length of the arms that rest on your ears.

👉 Refer to the diagram below to see exactly where these numbers apply.

Why BXL Eyewear?

  • No more tight frames that pinch or leave red marks.

  • No more glasses sliding down your nose.

  • Stylish designs built for comfort and durability.
